In a powerful display of Lone Star unity, Miranda Lambert and Parker McCollum are banding together for something far bigger than a concert. The two Texas-born country stars have announced Band Together Texas, a benefit concert set for Sunday, August 17 at Austin’s Moody Center, created in response to the catastrophic July 4 flooding that devastated communities across the Texas Hill Country.

Billed as a night of healing, hope and homegrown talent, the event aims to raise much-needed funds for The Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country and Central Texas Community Foundation, two organizations at the forefront of flood relief and recovery.
The flooding, which ranks among the deadliest natural disasters in Texas history, claimed the lives of more than 130 people. As of this writing, over 100 are still missing. Entire neighborhoods were swept away, families were displaced, and communities are now left rebuilding from the ground up.
“One of the things I love about both our artist community and our community in Texas is that we show up for one another, especially in times of such great need like folks in my home state are facing after the flood,” shares Lambert in the event's press release. “There is so much devastation and loss, yet what’s given me hope are the stories of those that have come to the aid of so many. That’s what we want to do with Band Together: Texans helping Texas. We hope it is a night that helps with healing while raising awareness and funds for The Community Foundation of Texas Hill Country and the Central Texas Community Foundation.”

The concert will showcase a stacked lineup of Texas music royalty. Alongside Lambert and McCollum, the Moody Center stage will host Ryan Bingham, Wade Bowen, Kelly Clarkson, Ronnie Dunn, Dylan Gossett, Jack Ingram, Cody Johnson, Lyle Lovett, Lukas Nelson, Jon Randall and Randy Rogers Band. Expect unforgettable collaborations and a room pulsing with Texas pride.
But Band Together Texas isn’t just about music, it’s about mission. Throughout the evening, tributes will spotlight the heroic efforts of first responders and the resilience of the flood’s survivors. Real stories of courage and community will take center stage, told by the very people who lived them.
“The flooding in the Hill Country of Texas is truly heartbreaking,” adds McCollum. “This place and these people are my community. There is a long road ahead rebuilding and even though so many families are facing the unimaginable, we’re Texas strong. Miranda is inspiring in both her music and how big her heart is, and I’m honored to be joining her for this benefit concert to support our fellow Texans and share a night of healing through music.”
The night also welcomes appearances by iconic Texans from all corners of culture. Matthew McConaughey and Dennis Quaid are lending their voices, joined by legendary University of Texas coach Mack Brown and former Longhorns Colt McCoy, Vince Young and Emmanuel Acho. MLB legend Roger Clemens and TV host Chris Harrison are also on board, with more names expected to join in support.
Tickets are expected to move quickly. Fans can register now for presale access through Monday, July 21 at 5 p.m. CT at bandtogethertexas.com. Presale passwords will be distributed on Tuesday, July 22, with the presale opening Wednesday, July 23 at 10 a.m. CT. Any remaining tickets will be made available for general purchase on Friday, July 25 at 10 a.m. CT.
With music, heart, and hometown spirit, Band Together Texas is more than a benefit, it’s a call to action, a tribute to resilience, and a reminder that when tragedy strikes, Texans rise.
